Why Travel Inspires Me
Being from another country, I’ve always had this pull toward exploring the world - it’s a big part of how I ended up in the US in the first place. Traveling gives me the chance to see new places, experience different cultures, try new foods, meet people, and witness landscapes and cities that all tell their own stories.
Before I picked up a camera, I could only experience those moments with my eyes and store them in my memory. But becoming a photographer and videographer changed everything. Now, when I’m somewhere new, I can capture that feeling - the quiet moments when no one’s watching, the busy scenes where everyone’s lost in their own world, the spontaneous little details you only notice when you're paying attention.
Those images stay with me forever. Not just in my mind, but in my camera, my phone, my laptop - something I can revisit anytime. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel across Europe, all over the US, and even for work, and I still never feel like I’ve seen enough. My list just keeps growing: Japan, Thailand, maybe the Bahamas for a little beach time (even though I get plenty of that living in West Palm Beach).
Traveling is one of the things that makes me happiest. And having a camera with me - being able to hold onto those moments forever - makes it even better.
